Beautiful vintage stone lithographic poster for Bally Shoes of Switzerland. In excellent condition and conserved on acid free paper and a linen backing. The handbags illustrated are not included just the poster.
Bally, Swiss, 1935-36, Collection of Bata Shoe Museum.
The trio of elegant evening shoes was made by luxury shoe brand Bally in the mid-1930s.Each design incorporates elements of Art Deco design reflecting the interplay between architecture and fashion popular at the time.
For over 160 years, the Swiss luxury-goods maker Bally have been best known for producing some of the most beautiful and well-made shoes and leather accessories in the world.
Sir Edmund Hillary wore Bally shoes when climbing and when man ascended to the moon it was NASA that turned to their meticulous, hand-finished qualities to devise the sole of the shoe in which to do it in.
