Measuring over 18 inches in diameter, the charger features a vibrant iron red ground embellished with extensive gold scrollwork and detailing. Three shaped cartouches dominate the design, each depicting a traditional flower cart or rickshaw motif surrounded by dense floral and ornamental patterns. The bold palette and layered decoration are characteristic of Imari porcelain produced for export during this period.

Imari chargers of this scale were typically created as decorative display pieces rather than functional tableware, prized for their visual impact and craftsmanship.
