The structure consists of large burgundy spheres with a shiny surface and smaller, matte cream-colored spheres, connected by thin, silvery metal rods. The arrangement is based on a regular hexagonal grid, characteristic of ice crystals. The surfaces of the spheres are differentiated by their texture: the larger ones are smooth and shiny, while the smaller ones are slightly grainy; the metal elements introduce light reflection and visual coolness. Slight irregularities in the assembly are particularly noticeable around the joints, emphasizing the handmade nature of the model and the realities of the mid-century modern era. The form of this sculptural structure oscillates between a scientific diagram and a precise minimalist decoration. Geometric repetition brings an atmosphere of laboratory discipline, while the contrast of materials and dominant colors enliven the whole. Small details of the surface—gloss, differences in texture, subtle breaks of cream and burgundy—create an object that resembles a fragment of an experimental space enclosed in a functional form. The model communicates cool precision, but has a noticeable trace of the craftsman's hand. The object can be displayed on an open shelf, console, or in a library display case – it will also work well in a studio or home office. When paired with simple metal or light wood furniture, the model will complement industrial and science-inspired interiors. It can be combined with transparent laboratory vessels, neutral textiles, or a scientific poster; the subdued colors of the surroundings will bring out the contrasts and grid of forms of the model itself.
