Alien is a sizable chandelier consisting of a metal supporting structure divided into three sections and repeated over two levels. The villa's entrance required a large chandelier due to the high ceiling (12 meters), and this design was chosen because it guaranteed a dramatic effect.
The chandelier also needed to convey a sense of luxury consistent with the lifestyle of the owners and their invited guests. Another winning factor was, of course, the emphasis placed on a noble material of timeless beauty: Murano glass. They sought a material that offered a virtually infinite variety of shapes and colors and that represented Italian craftsmanship, because they saw in it the essence of luxury.
