Antique late 19th C French cast brass fireplace tool holder. The holder is solid brass and depicts a charming Art Nouveau hunting scene with a horn hanging among tree branches at the top, and a hound dog, rabbit, pheasants and hunting rifle at the footed tree trunk base. Beautiful detail with a high relief. Alternative use as an umbrella stand or cane holder. Unmarked by a maker. Includes set of three polished ball handle tools (tongs, poker, shovel) with wonderful Art Nouveau details. Stand measures 12" W x 12" L x 21.5" H. Shovel is 25.5"H, tongs 25"H and poker 23"H.
Stand is sturdy and solid cast brass. Tools are also sturdy and in good shape. Natural patina to brass.
