Its elegant form and classic blue-and-white palette make it a timeless decorative piece suitable for various interior settings. It is a classic example of Chinese Blue and white Porcelain (or Qing Hua), a style rich in history and cultural symbolism. For example, white porcelain was perfected in China, particularly in the city of Jingdezhen, which has been the center of porcelain production for a thousand years. This beautiful combination of cobalt blue fired under a transparent glaze on the white porcelain made this style highly desirable for export and it became a first truly global commodity.

And the drawings on the vases! They are more than decoration. I am not sure what type of vegetation is portrayed here, or even if it is vegetation, but they commonly use the peony, known as the King of Flowers and which symbolize wealth, honor and royalty.
