This is a gorgeous circa 1950s Asian rosewood tea table with 4 stools by George Zee & Co.
The round low table is made of solid rosewood and exquisitely carved with dragons and other traditional Asian motifs. There are 4 matching carved rosewood stools that tuck neatly under the table when not in use. Marked with metal badge GEORGE ZEE & CO on the underside of the table.
The mid-20th century table set is in excellent vintage condition. The pieces are solid, heavy, and well made. The table top is in great shape, as it has been used with a glass top, which is included. Signs of minor wear on table and stools, including scratches and faint water stains. Evidence of some glue repairs made. Please see photos for more details about the condition of this set.
The table measures 32” diameter and 18” tall. Each stool measures 12.75” tall, 14” wide on the sides of the right angle, and 19” wide on the hypotenuse.
