Following the discovery of a French archive document reminiscent of the Wildflower Meadow`s meandering serpentine path the artwork was adapted to include acer trees Japanese maples and beehives a gift from Fortnum & Mason that is of the utmost importance to the gardens` natural sustainability. Meadow flowers including fritillaries are joined by muntjac deer and sheep who graze the meadow seasonally to aid with growth mischievous foxes and regal pheasants. The design`s delicate archival quality lends itself to a rich and traditional interpretation of a timeless brocade. Woven in Italy.
