Crafted in Italy in the Mid-Century when Italian design was iconic and stunning. It’s no surprise that they would use a Trompe L’Oeil style Walnut to craft a nutcracker. It’s heavy brass including the hinge. Great piece that will be a conversation piece as well as look great as a decor piece when not in use.
