Unsigned. Yamato-E style. Watercolor, ink and gold pigment mist on paper. Silk brocade border. Lacquered black wood frame with metal corners and plaques, showing age patina. Paper on back. Previous owner bought it decades ago at auction of old Asian Art Collection. Japan, Edo to Meiji Era, circa 1800s.

Very Good condition for age - no major problems, some age wear overall, a small damage on the painting of the interior of the house (3rd panel), very minor staining, minor repairs on hinges to give more support, touch-ups on the frame, some age wear at edges of the panels, strong hinges, extensive age wear on paper back of the exterior panels, clean, sturdy.
