This listing if for n elegant antique Sheffield silverplate coffee pot and teapot set, beautifully hand-chased with flowing floral and foliate motifs. Each vessel features a classic baluster form, graceful curved spouts, ornate handles, and decorative finials, all resting on paw feet—hallmarks of fine English silverplate from the turn of the century.
The detailed chasing was executed by hand, giving the surfaces depth and variation not found in later machine-engraved examples. The forms are well balanced and substantial, reflecting the quality craftsmanship for which Sheffield silversmiths were renowned.
This matched pair makes a striking display on a sideboard, bar cart, or open shelving and works beautifully in traditional, English country, Victorian, or eclectic interiors.
Both pieces present well with light surface wear consistent with age and use. No visible dents or structural issues observed. Patina consistent with antique silverplate; polishing optional at buyer’s discretion.
