A Very Rare Pair of Antique Red Transferware "Pennsylvania" Pattern Luncheon Plates, Circa 1830's
Made by Knight, Elkin & Co. of Fenton, Stoke on Trent, England, from 1826-1846
A very rare pattern, made by a small potter that was not in business for a very long time.
Super delicate plates, and a beautifully executed transfer decorations in the centre.
Size: 6 3/4" across, each.
Condition: excellent condition, minor use and wear marks associated with age and use. Very visually striking pair of plates. Retains vintage notes from previous collections.
**Seller note** this pattern is extremely rare and hard to find. In our nearly 30 years of working with transfer decorated china, these are the second and third plates of this pattern we have handled!
