Made in Germany by the best of the best - Meissen! Unusually large example of great quality and impressive colors! Boy stands on a round gilt highlighted column form plinth, having a hat in hand and crutches, as in an injured wing "broken heart" situation. Figure is marked on the bottom with Meissen crossed swords, along with a set of impressed numbers "101" and "L 112 (see photos). Statue is in good condition, minimal age use wear (please see photos). Size is large and impressive on any table, office desk, library shelf, or a curio vitrine at 8.625" in height, 3.75" wide, and 3.75" deep. Great porcelain collection addition, and a fine display in any traditional or mid-century modern setting! See less
