Vintage Middle Eastern Inlaid Wood Painted Trinket Box Mosaic.. This is a vintage Persian Khatam micro mosaic inlaid wood trinket box with a hand-painted hunting scene on the lid. The box features intricate geometric patterns created using the ancient Persian technique of Khatam, which involves inlaying delicate pieces of wood, bone, and metal.
