The woodcut represents a young girl with prunus blossoms. The print varies from black, dark gray, light gray, and cream. The background has a textured design that simulate wood grain. The red seal identifying the artist is shown on the lower left. The woodcut is housed in the original gilt and black frame with an off-white mat. Kawano was a key figure in the sōsaku hanga ("creative prints") movement that emphasized the artist's full involvement in designing, carving, and printing their own works.
