A stunning two-handled majolica potiche vase, glazed, vitrified, and entirely hand-decorated, finished with a metallic lustre in ruby and gold tones. Made by the renowned icap factory, it bears one of the manufacturer's trademarks under the base, with the letter "a" and "p" joined, and the place of production "italy" underneath. It dates to the early 20th century. The beauty of our vase lies primarily in its ancient roman amphora shape, with two large handles and a lid entirely hand-decorated, purposefully larger than the mouth. Finally, the beautiful black griffins, entirely hand-crafted, are also striking.
