This vessel features bold architectural loop handles, a boldly brutalist rim, and a powerful rounded body that reads as both utilitarian and sculptural.

The surface is richly layered with saturated cobalt blue, iron red, and earthen brown glazes, pooling and breaking organically across the form. The glaze application creates a raw, expressive contrast against the darker, nearly volcanic upper rim and interior—very much in the spirit of Brutalist ceramics and mid-century Danish stoneware, with clear echoes of Axel Salto’s experimental forms. In the manner of mid-century Brutalist ceramics that Kelly Wearstler, Nate Berkus, Jeremiah Brent, and Leanne Ford incorporate into design.

The handles give the piece strong visual tension and make it especially compelling as a standalone object—ideal for console styling, shelving moments, or sculptural grouping rather than traditional floral use.
