Pair of postmodern side chairs, model Jur Eats, designed by architect and designer Rob Eckhardt in 1991.
This model was designed for the interior of the photo studio of Jurriaan Eindhoven. They were made in-house in very small numbers, only about 30 pieces. Great chairs and very hard to find.
According to Rob Eckhardt himself this design is still the most dear to him, as he told me.
The chairs have a stunning half-sphere solid wooden seat, a grey tubular steel frame and a flexible upholstered backrest in its original brown velvet.
Playful chairs by one of the most prominent post-modern designers of the Netherlands.
The chairs are in very good original condition. The wooden seats are excellent, the fabric and the frames have little traces of use. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
