The plate dates to late 19th / early 20th century, best of the best quality work, phenomenal painting on porcelain. Gorgeous gilt border, scroll designs and jeweling on cobalt blue base. Center medallion features an adorable allegorical scene of two lovers nursing a baby angel Amour with an injured wing. Painting is signed in lower right "Krajsa". Back of the plate is marked with a blue period Beehive mark and additional black writing "Amors Beschneidung", as well as the retailer's mark in gold "Limoges Paris". Condition is very good, gold near mint, one chip on the back side only hence the lower price (please see photos). Size is large and impressive 9.25" diameter wide. This is a great addition to any quality porcelain ceramic collection! See less
