A beautiful antique English Mahogany library step stool / staircase, consisting of four steps with each step lined with a … Read more A beautiful antique English Mahogany library step stool / staircase, consisting of four steps with each step lined with a black leather decorated with blind and gilt tooling, supported on a tall turned column with an brass knob at the top, and various turned spindles on the outside. The mahogany, leather and brass have a beautiful timeworn patina. A few of the steps have areas of wear to the gilt pattern, as well as a chipped edge to the top step, but does not detract from its overall appearance. In fact, this just adds more authenticity to its antique age and shows how many times it was loved and used over the years. This staircase is in excellent condition and is very sturdy. See less
