English mahogany Box, writing slope/ travel desk, late 19th century, mounted with brass banding, opening to paneled writing surface, concealed storage under either side, fitted with pen and ink receptacles, retaining one glass inkwell, lock plate marked VR with crown pictogram (Victoria Regina), hinges marked PM & Co. (Paul Moore and Company). Leather is newer and in good condition.
