These art pieces were traditionally made by collecting fabric from members of the family to create a "crib quilt" for the blessing of a new baby. As you can see, both sides are beautiful, unique and worthy of display! They both feature 3D animals and details that are meant to protect the baby and ward off evil. I love it as a wall art tapestry. It is not really soft enough to be used as a blanket or quilt. This particular piece is in great condition for it's age and very clean. See less
