The chair is distinctive for its high, exaggerated lattice or fan back and natural bamboo construction in a rich, dark rusty red color. Brass caps adorn the armrests.

Includes woven cream colored fabric removable seat cushion and removable, small round back cushion; both with metal zipper closures and piping with foam inserts. Fabric and zippers appear to be original.

The chair embodies a Mid-Century Modern aesthetic with Asian or Chinoiserie influences, also referred to as Hollywood Regency.

Condition is original and untouched. Seat cushion fabric appears worn and with visible staining on both one side of the reversible cushion - see photos. Chair bamboo frame is in good condition and feels solid. Note small flecks in red lacquer finish in photos - smaller than .25”.
