Antique adjustable/telescoping cast iron Native American war chief book rack with a faux bronze/copper finish. Made by H.L. Judd Co in the early 20th century. H.L. Judd Manufacturing Company opened in 1833 in New Britain, Connecticut and was known for producing various metal household goods, including bookends and letter racks. Judd identified their bookends with a 9000 series stock number. The paint appears to be original and not retouched or repaired.
This book rack measures 13" long and extends to approximately 23".
