A Very Fine and Rare Philadelphia Bristol Glazed Stoneware Cake Crock With Lid by Thomas Haig Jr, Circa 1870’s
Attributed to Thomas Haig, Jr circa 1860-1880's of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Rare cake crock, with lid. "Bristol" type glaze, with underglaze blue decoration. Ear shaped handles, and a knob on the lid.
Size: 9" across (including handles), by 8" across, 6" tall
Condition: age/use, and wear marks. Crack in the crock and crack in the lid, probably from heat and cold during use.
