An avant-garde figural of a young woman, casting a sidelong glance towards the viewer through a storm door and holding a posy of wildflowers and irises.
This Czech painter and printmaker was born in 1944 in Mladá Boleslav. She spent her childhood in Nové Město nad Váhom and first studied with the academic artist Juraj Krén. From 1958 to 1963, she studied graphics at the Secondary School of Applied Arts in Bratislava. From 1963, she continued her studies at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague. In 1965, she moved to Austria, where she continues to live and paint in the town of Hollenburg.
