Offered is a hand carved Mexican Iron Wood Manta Ray figurine. Made from Desert Iron wood (palo fierro in Spanish), a very dense, beautiful hardwood from the Sonoran Desert. Each piece is unique and the details of the carving pay respect to the beauty of the grain. Handcrafted in Mexico, often by artisans from the Seri Indian tradition, using fallen wood. Perfect as a paperweight for your important desk documents, or wherever you display your home menagerie of beautiful wildlife.
