This substantial statement piece measures 16 inches tall with a 5-inch wide opening, making it perfect for styling on a console, sideboard, entryway or pedestal. The surface features layers of delicately beaded enamel, gold accents, and vibrant hand-painted figures in traditional dress — a wonderful example of mid-century Japanese decorative porcelain.
The base shows the classic crackle-glazed finish associated with Satsuma-style work and red hand-painted script marking.
