Mid 1800s German Bisque Porcelain Plate Enclosed to Brass Pedestal Base with Old Newspapers
A very interesting piece. The central plate is made from fine porcelain with bisque front and glazed back side. The front features hand painted floral motif. This plate is enclosed to solid brass brass base and together they form a pedestal bowl centerpiece. When I separated them, there is a bunch of old German newspapers dated around 1869. I put them together and you will receive it in one piece as shown on first pictures. Great condition with signs of wear expected from the age.
Stand is not included.
