Presents as Early / Mid 20th Century - perhaps as a measure for children's height.

Wonderful paint detailing - a warn antique white base with gray inch markers and bright two tone blue numerals.

84" tall by 5.5" wide - less than .25 thick.

Discovered on a fine and old Virginia Apple Farm - that's all we know.

This ruler stole our hearts. The paint work is lovely, and the idea that is could have bene used to mark the growth of young family members was just too much to pass up.

The folk art feeling with this piece is strong as well - this would be a wonderful member of a great Americana collection or in a farm house setting.

We've had it hanging adjacent to a tall hall mirror as a "wink" piece - and folks never fail to comment on it. Great fun and maybe something special. See less
