Early 20th C. Stirrup / Equestrian Desk Calendar.
Bridle leather and nickel / chrome white metal finish, with molded month "cards" which create a perpetual calendar - simply rotate they as the months pass.
Signed Eldonian, Made in England, Real Hide.
6" tall, 5" wide, 2" deep.
Leather tanning is beautiful, with very thick hide and strong stitching. Stirrup framing has nice detailing as well - even showing foot tread markings in the base as a real stirrup would.
And the calendar cards...charming. Aged ivory with bright blue text, with a font and details that make you smile.
