A stunning and extremely well made vintage Danish desk by Arne Wahl Iversen. It was made in Denmark by Vinde Mobelfabrik, it dates from the 1960’s.
The quality is outstanding, this has beautiful and very practical design. The grain patterns and colour tones are gorgeous, this is nicely finished on the back with open shelving, so can be used as a free standing item. It has an amazing profile and looks fantastic from all angles. There are two useful drawers with recessed handles either side of the generous knee hole, and a central drawer above the knee hole. The legs are beautifully made with stretchers for stability, and exposed dovetailed joints at the top edges.
We have had this recently stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is excellent.
