Age and Origin:

The candelabra is likely from the 17th/18th century and probably originates from Italy.

Condition:

Original antique in good condition for its age, with signs of wear,
minor damage, missing pieces, and shrinkage cracks (see photos). The piece is free of active woodworm infestation.

Antique 150 cm high, carved and gilded wooden floor candelabra (also known as a torchiere or light candelabra) in the Baroque style, likely dating from the 17th or 18th century.

The chandelier has a slender, multi-sectioned shaft with rich decoration of acanthus leaves and ornamental elements.

The base is round, profiled, and also decorated with carvings.

Small figurative figures, putti, are integrated into the lower part of the shaft, above the base.

The gold surface shows clear signs of age and patina, indicating its historical authenticity.
