Impressive antique mahogany William IV writing table that can be used from both sides. It is in perfect, original condition. It stands on brass casters. One side has real drawers, the other side has false drawers. The drawers have a beautiful arrangement, with an additional writing surface above the middle drawer. The table dates from the William IV period, circa 1835. The top is covered in dark brown leather with concealed profiling. The mahogany has a beautiful patina developed over the decades. Its high quality is evident in the handmade dovetail joints and the smooth operation of the drawers.
