Designed as wall décor, this piece was made to replicate the look and scale of traditional American tobacco baskets while offering the stability required for modern interiors. The basket features an open lattice weave, bentwood-style rim, and integrated hanging hardware on the reverse, allowing it to be securely mounted. The surface finish was intentionally aged to evoke the character of historic agricultural baskets, making it a popular choice for farmhouse, rustic, and collected interiors.
This model has been discontinued by Ballard Designs and is no longer available through the manufacturer. While decorative in origin, the scale and construction give it strong architectural presence when displayed.
