Early 1900s etched brass candlestick with integral match box holder in the base, complete with a box of wood stick safety matches of the period. Presumably part of a household supplies for power outages during the early days of residential electrical service. Underside of base bears an incised mark "China"
Dimensions: candle holder, 2.6"W x 2.2"D x 2.6"H; matchbox, 2.4"W x 2.2"D x .75"H.
Candle holder has authentic brass patina which we leave to the buyer to retain or polish. The match box has candle wax spills and overall wear.
