Striking vintage modern chrome cantilever lounge chair with original grey suede/leather upholstery. Sculptural, low-slung, and genuinely comfortable.
The chair features a tubular chrome cantilever frame with softly padded sling-style seat, back, and arms. Strong modernist lines with a relaxed, lounge-forward sit—equally suited for mid-century modern, Bauhaus, contemporary, or loft interiors.
There is no manufacturer’s label present. Based on construction, materials, and period, the chair appears consistent with late-20th-century American modern production. I was told by a previous seller it may be related to Thonet production, but this is unconfirmed and sold as unattributed.
This is a chair with real presence—ideal as a statement piece in a living room, bedroom, office, or studio space.
