Add an eclectic touch of quality hardware to your door with this exceptional pair of American cast bronze door knobs by Russell & Erwin from the 1870s. This beautiful set of ornamental passage knobs are decorated with palmette motifs and center rosettes. This hardware is very characteristic of Victorian quality craftsmanship and would make a most desirable set for the discerning decorator or avid collector.
The set is in very good antique condition with a some varying patinas to the surfaces and normal wear from age and use. Includes the rosettes, a spindle and 2 set screws. The knobs can be adjusted to fit doors from 1.5" to 2.25" thick in increments of .25"
