A Antique Folk Art Small Redware Crock With Lid, by Stahl's Pottery, Powder Valley, Pa, 1948
Made by Stahl's Pottery of Powder Valley, PA, circa 1934-1942, and 1945-1950
Powder Valley is near Zionsville in Upper Milford Township, Lehigh County, PA
Issac and Thomas Stahl made pottery from 1934 to 1942, and Issac after the war until 1950.
Stahl's Pottery is very desirable in the Pennsylvania Folk Art collector's circle.
A Redware miniature crock with lid. Glazed interior of the crock, and glazed lid, unglazed exterior, with a blue decorated line on the exterior. Superb miniature size!
Marked: "Made by R. R. Stahl 1/12/1948"
Size: 3" across, 3 3/4" tall.
Condition: Original as found condition. Minor use and wear marks associated with age. Bears a very old and vintage price tag on the inside of the lid. probably from 40 years ago.
