A vintage Florentia possibly giltwood wall mirror, hand made in Italy and labeled on the reverse. This small oval mirror features an ornate Rococo style frame with scroll and shell motifs, with traces of red beneath for depth and character.The molded composition frame is detailed with raised relief and retains its original Florentia paper backing and numbered label (69411).
This piece was produced by Florentia, known for decorative Italian crafts and furnishings made mid-20th century for export. Compact in scale, it makes an excellent accent for a gallery wall, vanity, or decorative display.Original Florentia backing shows signs of wear and taping, mirror glass with light surface marks.
