A stunning set of luxurious Bohemian cranberry cut to clear gold gilded stemmed cordial glasses by renowned fine quality luxury glassmaker Moser.
Exudeing refined elegance, sophistication, and artistry, matching set of eight, each liqueur glass features a richly paneled cabochon-like cranberry red and pink hue, meticulously hand-decorated with brilliant gold gilding and the most intricate gilt enamel decoration, showcasing Moser’s signature hand craftsmanship, the lavish gilt decoration continues on the ornate faceted stem, leading to a sturdy circular foot base. Early to mid-20th century.
By "The King of Glass", Moser glassworks factory was named after its founder Ludwig Moser (1833-1916) and established in Karlsbad (present day Karlovy Vary) in North East Bohemia in 1857 (present day Czech Republic), garnering a reputation as one of the finest art glass and crystal companies in the world. Attributed, apparently not signed, typical of this era Moser works.
