One Gallon Antique Whisky Jug, this "Primitive" antique whiskey jug ihas a simple, utilitarian design, handcrafted nature, and a focus on function over embellishment. Made of thick, heavy stoneware, with a salt-glazed finish that produces a unique, slightly bumpy, glass-like surface. Having a brown neck and tan body with a slightly crackled glaze design. The painted cobalt blue number One indicates the jug capacity, this meaning one gallon. The piece dates back to the late 1800's to early 1900's.
In very good condition given age and use, extremely small chip on mouth (hard to spot), small chip mon upper body and base, please see pictures.
