19th century, England / Great Britain, Victorian era, featuring a solid mahogany case with hinged lid, lifting open to reveal a fitted interior retaining a matching set of 18 lidded glass apothecary containers that appear original, over a lower storage drawer to the front, and sides affixed with brass bale carry handles.

Raised on a later custom made mahogany stand, quality solid wood construction having a fitted base with molded edge, raised on sturdy stretcher joined straight square legs.

The set of period heavy blown glass apothecary vessels comprised of 16 bottles and 2 large oversized jars, all retaining lids.

Very good original antique condition with nicely aged warm rich patina, authentic antique character and charm.

Strong, sturdy, structurally sound, attractive appearance, wear commensurate with age and indicative of use, including minor scattered nicks, abrasions, minor tonal variations and dark areas to backside, glass jars with residue, fleabites, but overall presents well.

Delivered lightly cleaned, waxed, hand rubbed polished patina, ready for immediate use and generational enjoyment!
