The first offers a serene riverside perspective titled Chartres. La Cathédrale Vue des Rives de l’Eure, with the cathedral's soaring spires reflected in the calm waters of the Eure River, a rowboat gently moored in the foreground, and lush foliage framing the scene. Pencil signed "Cassin" lower right.

The second captures a picturesque cobblestone street scene leading toward the cathedral, highlighting its magnificent rose window and Gothic facade amid historic buildings – including a quaint restaurant sign reading "VINS LIQUEURS." Pencil signed "Hubert" lower right.
