This restored 3-drawer Biedermeier chest (visually 4 drawers) from around 1840 is an outstanding example of classic craftsmanship and timeless elegance. with its 3 smooth-running drawers, lockable with a key, and original brass fittings that facilitate drawer opening, this piece of furniture combines functionality and beauty. Particularly impressive is the continuous burl veneer with its magnificent brass trim, which extends in a harmonious, symmetrical grain pattern across the front, sides, and even the top with its rounded profile. This captivating veneer pattern gives the chest a refined and sophisticated appearance. A particular highlight of this chest of drawers is the integrated writing desk, which becomes visible when the first drawer is pulled out.
