This superb pair of solid oak benches, dating from the 1900s, perfectly embodies the timeless "country chic" aesthetic.
Measuring 200 cm in length, they are distinguished by their elegant and robust trestle legs, typical of monastic or farm furniture of the period. We particularly love the subtle contrast between the frame, which retains its original dark patina, and the seats, which have been fully restored.
The bench tops have been carefully sanded to reveal the raw oak grain, then protected with two coats of a clear matte varnish. This process provides a smooth, clean surface, ready for everyday use, without altering the furniture's history.
Perfect in a large entryway, at the foot of a bed, or to complement a long dining table, whether contemporary or antique.
