The famous Mademoiselle armchair was designed in 1956 by Finnish designer Ilmari Tapiovaara for the Artek brand. The Finnish brand was founded in 1935 by Alvar and Aino Aalto and embodies the timelessness of Scandinavian design and first-class craftsmanship.
