The organic wooden frame, the glass top and the removable tray clearly express the refined formal language and functional approach that are characteristic of lacca’s work. The design was developed in 1951 for cassina and was presented in italy under the name carrello da tè. In the netherlands, this model was marketed by de ster geldermalsen, as documented in their catalogue, where the serving trolley appears as model 893. The tea trolley is made of beechwood, expertly stained and lacquered in a warm walnut tone (original finish).

dimensions: 72 × 86 × 44 cm (h × w × d). The upper tier with the glass top measures 58 × 76 × 40 cm (h × w × d).
