Likely … Read more This 18th century Rococo style Italian gilt wood mirror is hand carved with pierced openwork crest dating to 1740-1780. Likely Venetian or Northern Italian. Rare to find in that it is structurally all original. It has original gesso and red bole visible at points of wear beneath original water-gilding, with later gilt and gold paint retouching. This is a stunning piece of history. See less
