A charming and expressive street-and-harbour scene painting that captures a lively moment along the waterfront, executed in oil onto board and dated 1976.

Several figures stroll casually along the promenade: some walking in pairs, others heading toward a moored sailboat – while a small dog trots alongside its owner. Across the water, soft-edged buildings form a pastel skyline, giving the piece a distinctly coastal atmosphere. The scene feels leisurely and sunlit, evoking the quiet rhythm of everyday life by the marina.

Rendered in a light, impressionistic hand, the artist has used loose, confident brushstrokes to suggest movement and light without over-defining forms. The palette consists of lively pastels: sky blues, coral pinks, yellows, greens – layered in translucent strokes that create a luminous, breezy mood.
